Austin-based singer-songwriter Jonny Gray navigates the line between folk, pop, and rock.
The El Paso native Air Force Veteran has been garnering both local and national attention after his finalist run on Season 5 of NBC's The Voice. His debut EP Sail It Away was composed of a minimal flurry of acoustic takes, highlighting delightfully simple melodies, highlighting his crackling voice and fragile, yet powerful vocal delivery. At the 2014 Austin Music Awards he received  “Folk Band of the Year,” “Song of the Year,” and “Male Vocalist of the Year.”  His first full-length, Promises Broke, which came together after a successful Kickstarter campaign, was released in June 2015 and Gray is calling it a return to basics, saying, “I want[ed] to make a classic sounding record, the ones my parents or your parents grew up listening to.”

'The Live In The Living Room Festival' is an international charity acoustic songwriter's circle event in aid of Meningitis. The London event will be in aid of Meningitis Now and also Dementia UK as a replacement for the postponed 'Live In The Living Room Gives Back' event on 19th April.
Expect an amazing day of acoustic music, great storytelling and amazing food. Come have a good time with us and let's help Meningitis Now and Dementia UK carry on their great work in their fight against these vile, wicked diseases. It would mean a lot to me and my family if you could come as my Dad has Dementia and I almost died from Meningitis B when I was 18.
